Hi Pack 120! Get ready to race! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the derby Saturday 2/22, from 1 - 5 PM at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren (7600 Port Republic Road, Port Republic, VA 24471). Mill Creek has hosted the pack for the last few years, so the setup will be similar. The race will be held in the social hall which can be accessed at the rear of church via the ramp. Look for the Pack 120 trailer.

Cub Resident Camp is June 15-17 and Webelos Resident Camp is June 18-21, both at Camp Shenandoah. There will be sign-up sheets at the derby for those interested. The pack will be trying to get a count of who is thinking of going and organize those to register and pay before 3/15 to take advantage of the early rates. Check emails from the pack for some basic information about each. More info will be available as it is provided by the council. For now here is what to know:

The new pack t-shirts are in! The new shirts feature updated logos with the official BSA cub scout ranks. If you pre-ordered, your shirts will be available. And there are extra shirts available as well. The cost is $15. Payment can be cash, check (made to Pack 120), or Venmo.

Celebrate scouting and the contributions of our scouts, our adult volunteers, and our charter organization to our Pack on Scout Sunday at MPC. The service is from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

Get this on your calendar. The pack AOLs will be completing their cub scout journeys.

Some unofficial, but fun events for the first Saturday in February.

Area scout units will be helping to remove wreaths for disposal from Woodbine Cemetery (21 Reservoir Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). The wreaths were placed in December by area scout units as part of Wreaths Across America to honor service members. Please arrive by 10:45 AM at Woodbine. Wreath removal should only take an hour or less.
